Scope note: Malformación congénita de las manos y pies caracterizada por la exisistencia de membranas entre los dedos adyacentes. La sindactilia puede ser clasificada como completa o incompleta, según el grado de unión. También puede ser simple o compleja. En la sindactilia simple la unión está formada sólo por piel o tejidos blandos; en la compleja la unión afecta también a los elementos óseos.
