Scope note: Endurecimiento y engrosamiento crónico y localizado de la piel. Las lesiones pueden categorizarse como morfea (en forma de gota, profunda, panesclerótica) o lineal (con o sin meloreostosis o hemiatrofia). Es dos veces más común en mujeres que en hombres. La condición se caracteriza por isquemia de la piel, infiltrados linfocíticos, edema de haces de colágeno, y engrosamiento de la dermis con reducción de la grasa subcutánea.
