Scope note: Cerebrósidos que contienen como cabeza polar una glucosa unida mediante un enlace glycosídico a un grupo hidroxilo de las ceramidas. Su acumulación en los tejidos, debido a defecto de la glucosidasa beta, es la causa de la enfermedad de Gaucher.
