Scope note: Familia de Primates del suborden Strepsirhini que contiene cuatro géneros. La familia está distribuida en zonas de África y del sudeste asiático. Los cuatro géneros son: Arctocebus (anguantibos) y Perodicticus (potos) en la subfamilia Perodicticinae y Loris (loris delgado) y Nycticebus (loris lento) en la subfamilia Lorisinae. Todos viven en árboles y son nocturnos. El género GALAGO está clasificado ahora en la familia GALAGIDAE.
