Scope note: Los músculos de la FARINGE son voluntarios y se disponen en dos capas. La capa circular externa la compone los músculos constrictores (inferior, medio y superior). La capa longitudinal interna la compone los músculos palatofaríngeo, salpingofaríngeo y estilofaríngeo. Durante la deglución, la capa externa cierra la pared faríngea y la capa interna sube la faringe y LARINGE.
