Scope note: Malformaciones corticales caracterizadas por una hendidura en la sustancia gris que la divide en dos, que parte del EPÉNDIMO y puede alcanzar hasta la superficie externa de la PIAMADRE. La sustancia gris que rodea a dicha hendidura suele ser POLIMICROGIRIA. Esta malformación va asociada a retraso del desarrollo, trastornos motores y ataques.
