Familia de prostaglandinas que incluye tres de las seis prostaglancinas naturales. Todas las PGF naturales tienen una configuración alfa en la posición de carbono 9. Estimulan el músuclo liso uterino y bronquial y se utilizan con frecuencia como oxitócicos.
