Scope note: Dermatitis con eritema escamoso en zonas extensas de la piel, que aparece como un proceso reactivo o secundario a una enfermedad cutánea preexistente (dermatitis atópica, psoriasis, sarna, liquen plano) o como una alteración idiopática o primaria y, a menudo, asociada a la pérdida de pelo y uñas, hiperqueratosis de las palmas de las manos y las plantas de los pies, prurito y efectos fisiológicos secundarios graves y debilitantes.
