Scope note: Trastorno crónico del aparato pilosebáceo que se asocia a un incremento de la secreción sebácea. Se caracteriza por comedones abiertos (espinillas de cabeza negra), comedones cerrados (espinillas de cabeza blanca) y nódulos pustulosos. Su causa es desconocida, aunque la herencia y la edad constituyen factores predisponentes.
