Scope note: Tipo de tumor del tejido conjuntivo, que se presenta en el estroma intralobulillar de la mama. Se caracteriza por el rápido crecimiento de una masa compacta móvil y asimétrica. Histológicamente, sus hendiduras estromales en forma de frondas están tapizadas por CÉLULAS EPITELIALES. También existen tumores filodes en la próstata aunque son poco frecuentes.
