Scope note: Proceso de aprendizaje que se desarrolla a largo plazo a través de acciones que apuntan a despertar y sensibilizar sobre la necesidad y la importancia de recuperarse, preservar y conservar los recursos naturales y la biodiversidad, es decir, el medio ambiente con un todo. Además, se hace necesario que tales acciones estén correlacionadas con cuestiones de carácter social y cultural. Puede ser desarrollada y aplicada a diferentes segmentos de la sociedad, a través de una acción planificada y desarrollada con responsabilidad para que sea posible la formación de ciudadanos aptos para tener posicionamientos críticos sobre la sostenibilidad.
