Scope note: Geles sintéticos de organosiloxanos formados a partir de polímeros sintéticos de óxido de silicona con cadenas laterales orgánicas (polidimetilsiloxano) mediante alargamiento de las cadenas poliméricas. A diferencia de los elastómeros de silicona, no son tratados con sílica amorfa. Se utilizan como elementos de relleno en implantes de mama.
