Scope note: Antígenos de los ácaros del polvo doméstico (DERMATOPHAGOIDES), principalmente D. farinae y D. pteronyssinus. Son proteínas que se encuentran en las heces o los extractos de ácaros y pueden causar ASMA y otras enfermedades alérgicas, como la RINITIS ALÉRGICA PERENNE y la DERMATITIS ATÓPICA. Se han identificado más de 11 grupos de ALÉRGENOS de Dermatophagoides. Los alérgenos del grupo I, como Der f I y Der p I, procedentes de las dos especies mencionadas, son unos de los más potentes inmunógenos de ácaros en el ser humano.

They are proteins, found in mite feces or mite extracts, that can cause ASTHMA and other allergic diseases such as perennial rhinitis (RHINITIS, ALLERGIC, PERENNIAL) and atopic dermatitis (DERMATITIS, ATOPIC). More than 11 groups of Dermatophagoides ALLERGENS have been defined. Group I allergens, such as Der f I and Der p I from the above two species, are among the strongest mite immunogens in humans.
