Scope note: Derivados de la heparina. Se ha utilizado también la denominación más laxamente para incluir a los polisacáridos que se dan de modo natural y a los sintéticos muy sulfatados de estructura similar. Se han utilizado los preparados heparinoides en una amplia gama de aplicaciones entre ellas como son anticoagulantes y antiinflamatorios. Se asevera que tiene propiedades hipolipemiantes. Scope note: Heparin derivatives. The term has also been used more loosely to include naturally occurring and synthetic highly-sulphated polysaccharides of similar structure. Heparinoid preparations have been used for a wide range of applications including as anticoagulants and anti-inflammatories and they have been claimed to have hypolipidemic properties.
