Scope note: Anestésico por inhalación. En la actualidad, el metoxiflurano se utiliza rara vez en la anestesia quirúrgica, obstétrica o dental. En caso de emplearse, debe administrarse con ÓXIDO NITROSO para lograr un nivel relativamente ligero de anestesia, y puede administarse al mismo tiempo un bloqueante neuromuscular para obtener el grado deseado de relajación muscular.
