Nota de alcance: Procesos patológicos que afectan a la integridad de la circulación sanguínea. La hemostasia depende de la integridad de los VASOS SANGUÍNEOS, la fluidez de la sangre y la COAGULACIÓN SANGUÍNEA. La mayoría de los trastornos hemostáticos están producidos por una alteración de la normal interacción entre el ENDOTELIO VASCULAR, las proteínas plasmáticas (incluidos los FACTORES DE LA COAGULACIÓN SANGUÍNEA) y las PLAQUETAS.
