Note d'application: Tipo de fibras nerviosas que se definen según la disposición de la vaina del nervio. Los AXONES de las fibras nerviosas amielínicas tienen un diámetro reducido y, por lo general, algunas están recubiertas por una sola VAINA DE MIELINA. Conducen impulsos de baja velocidad, y representan la mayoría de las fibras nerviosas periféricas y autónomas, aunque también se han encontrado en el ENCÉFALO y la MÉDULA ESPINAL.
