UMLS (en anglais)
Since 2003, updates to the translations of MeSH Headings into Portuguese (MSHPOR) and Spanish (MSHSPA) have been sent annually to the Unified Medical Language System. It is important to note that terms that are exclusive to DeCS categories are not sent.
The UMLS metathesaurus is a large biomedical thesaurus organized by concepts or meanings, which links synonymous names from 185 vocabularies from different sources in 28 different languages. It has more than 15 million names distributed across 3 million concepts. The metathesaurus also presents useful relationships between concepts and preserves the meanings, concept names, and relationships of each vocabulary by linking them to a unique identifier.
The UMLS includes names and codes from the following biomedical vocabularies: SNOMED CT, RxNorm, LOINC, MeSH, CPT, ICD-10-CM, MedDRA, Human Phenotype Ontology, among others.
UMLS metathesaurus data can be searched and retrieved through a user-friendly navigation interface, available at https://uts.nlm.nih.gov/uts/umls/home, with free access controlled by identity providers to sign in to services that require some license. Try it!
