Nota de escopo: Trastorno en la capacidad para realizar movimientos coordinados voluntarios finos. Esta afección puede afectar a las extremidades, tronco, ojos, faringe, laringe y otras estructuras. La ataxia puede producirse por dificultades sensitivas o de la función motora. La ataxia sensitiva puede ser resultado de lesiones de los cordones posteriores o de ENFERMEDADES DE LOS NERVIOS PERIFÉRICOS.
