En la luxación, o rotura incompleta, el cristalino se desplaza hacia adelante, hacia la cámara anterior, o hacia atrás, al interior del cuerpo vítreo. Cuando es congénita, esta afección se conoce como ECTOPIA DEL CRISTALINO.
