Nota de alcance: Hormona de crecimiento compuesta por un péptido mitogénico transportado en los gránulos alfa de las plaquetas. Se libera cuando las plaquetas se adhieren a los tejidos traumatizados. Las células del tejido conectivo cercanas a la región traumatizada responden iniciando el proceso de replicación.
