Note d'application:	Especie de bacterias gramnegativas, facultativamente anaerobias, con forma bacilar, que se encuentran normalmente en la flora comensal del GANADO VACUNO y el GANADO OVINO. En condiciones de estrés físico o ESTRÉS FISIOLÓGICO puede causar MASTITIS en las ovejas y FIEBRE DEL EMBARQUE o NEUMONÍA ENZOÓTICA DE LOS BECERROS en el ganado vacuno. Su primera denominación era Pasteurella haemolytica.

A species of gram-negative, facultatively anaerobic, rod-shaped bacteria normally commensal in the flora of CATTLE and SHEEP. But under conditions of physical or PHYSIOLOGICAL STRESS, it can cause MASTITIS in sheep and SHIPPING FEVER or ENZOOTIC CALF PNEUMONIA in cattle. Its former name was Pasteurella haemolytica.
