Scope note: Ttrastorno de tipo acneiforme, en el que existe una infección piógena secundaria en y alrededor de las estructuras pilosebáceas, que produce cicatrices queloides. Se manifiesta como una foliculitis persistente en la zona posterior del cuello asociada a una oclusión de los orificios foliculares. Este trastorno es más frecuente en individuos de raza negra y asiáticos.

Scope note: A type of acneiform disorder in which secondary pyogenic infection in and around pilosebaceous structures ends in keloidal scarring. It manifests as persistent folliculitis of the back of the neck associated with occlusion of the follicular orifices. It is most often encountered in black or Asian men.
