Scope note:	Material mucilaginoso espeso de color verde oscuro a negruzco que se encuentra en el intestino del feto a término. Está constituido por secreciones de la MUCOSA INTESTINAL, PIGMENTOS BILIARES, ÁCIDOS GRASOS, LÍQUIDO AMNIÓTICO y detritos intrauterinos. Constituye las primeras heces que expulsa un recién nacido.

Scope note:

The thick green-to-black mucilaginous material found in the intestines of a full-term fetus. It consists of secretions of the INTESTINAL GLANDS; BILE PIGMENTS; FATTY ACIDS; AMNIOTIC FLUID; and intrauterine debris. It constitutes the first stools passed by a newborn.
