World Water Day


Since 1993, the United Nations has celebrated 22 March as World Water Day to raise awareness of the 2.2 billion people worldwide who live without access to safe drinking water.

This year’s UN campaign focuses on preserving glaciers, highlighting the need for global action to manage meltwater sustainably to ensure vital water resources for the future.
