Nota de alcance: Linfocitos citolíticos con capacidad específica para destruir las células tumorales recientes que son resistentes a las células asesinas naturales (células NK). Son células asesinas naturales activadas por la INTERLEUCINA-2, sin restricción del COMPLEJO PRINCIPAL DE HISTOCOMPATIBILIDAD ni necesidad de estimulación antigénica. Las células asesinas activadas por linfocinas (células LAK) se utilizan en la INMUNOTERAPIA ADOPTIVA en los pacientes con cáncer.
