Nota de alcance: Fase temprana del embrión de los animales no mamíferos que sigue a la fase de MÓRULA. La blástula es generalmente una estructura esférica cuya capa celular rodea a una cavidad rellena de líquido (blastocele). La capa de células se denomina BLASTODERMO.
