Note d'application:	Barrera especializada, en los TESTÍCULOS, entre el compartimento intersticial hemático y los compartimentos adluminales de los TÚBULOS SEMINÍFEROS. La barrera está formada por capas de células desde el ENDOTELIO VASCULAR de los VASOS SANGUÍNEOS capilares, hasta el EPITELIO SEMINÍFERO de los túbulos seminíferos. Se establecen UNIONES ESTRECHAS entre las CÉLULAS DE SERTOLI adyacentes, así como entre las CÉLULAS ENDOTELIALES.

A specialized barrier, in the TESTIS, between the interstitial BLOOD compartment and the adluminal compartment of the SEMINIFEROUS TUBULES. The barrier is formed by layers of cells from the VASCULAR ENDOTHELIUM of the capillary BLOOD VESSELS, to the SEMINIFEROUS EPITHELIUM of the seminiferous tubules. TIGHT JUNCTIONS form between adjacent SERTOLI CELLS, as well as between the ENDOTHELIAL CELLS.
