Note d'application: Forma directiva de psicoterapia basada en la interpretación de situaciones (estructura cognitiva de las experiencias) que determina cómo se siente y se comporta un individuo. Se basa en la premisa de que la cognición, el proceso de adquisición del conocimiento y de formación de las creencias, es un determinante esencial del estado de ánimo y de la conducta. El tratamiento utiliza técnicas conductuales y verbales para identificar y corregir los pensamientos negativos que están en el origen del comportamiento aberrante.

Note d'application: A directive form of psychotherapy based on the interpretation of situations (cognitive structure of experiences) that determine how an individual feels and behaves. It is based on the premise that cognition, the process of acquiring knowledge and forming beliefs, is a primary determinant of mood and behavior. The therapy uses behavioral and verbal techniques to identify and correct negative thinking that is at the root of the aberrant behavior.
