Note d'application: Ataxia locomotriz congénita de las ovejas, que se supone guarda relación con deficiencia de cobre. Se caracterizada clínicamente por incoordinación progresiva de los miembros traseros y anatomopatológicamente por la interrupción del desarrollo de las neuronas y la mielina en el sistema nervioso central; se debe a un déficit de cobre metabolizable en la oveja, durante la última mitad de la gestación. Note d'application: Congenital locomotor ataxia of lambs, thought to be associated with copper deficiency. It is characterized clinically by progressive incoordination of the hind limbs and pathologically by disruption of neuron and myelin development in the central nervous system. It is caused by a deficiency of metabolizable copper in the ewe during the last half of her pregnancy. (Dorland, 28th ed; Stedman, 26th ed)
