Note d'application:	Acumulación de material purulento en el espacio situado entre la FARINGE y las VÉRTEBRAS CERVICALES. Generalmente se produce por SUPURACIÓN de los GANGLIOS LINFÁTICOS retrofaríngeos en pacientes con INFECCIONES DE LAS VIAS RESPIRATORIAS ALTAS , perforación de la faringe o lesiones de la cabeza y cuello.
