Note d'application: Estudios que comparan dos o más tratamientos o intervenciones en los que los sujetos o pacientes, tras completar un ciclo de tratamiento, son cambiados a otro. En el caso de dos tratamiento, A y B, la mitad de los sujetos son elegidos aleatoriamente para recibir tratamiento en el orden A, B y la otra mitad lo recibe en el orden B, A. Una crítica a este diseño es que los efectos del primer tratamiento pueden extenderse al período en que se administra el segundo. In the case of two treatments, A and B, half the subjects are randomly allocated to receive these in the order A, B and half to receive them in the order B, A.
