Note d'application:	Cavidad de forma irregular situada en el ROMBENCÉFALO y localizada entre el BULBO RAQUÍDEO, el PUENTE y el istmo por delante, y el CEREBELO por detrás. Su parte posterior se continúa con el conducto raquídeo de la médula mientras que la anterior lo hace con el ACUEDUCTO DE SILVIO. A través de sus orificios medial y laterales se comunica con el ESPACIO SUBARACNOIDEO.

An irregularly shaped cavity in the RHOMBENCEPHALON, located between the MEDULLA OBLONGATA; the PONS; and the isthmus in front, and the CEREBELLUM behind. It is continuous with the central canal of the cord below and with the CEREBRAL AQUEDUCT above, and through its lateral and median apertures it communicates with the SUBARACHNOID SPACE.
