Note d'application: Receptor de la superficie celular para la LAMININA, epiligrina, FIBRONECTINAS, entactina, y COLÁGENO. La integrina alfa3beta1 es la principal integrina presente en las CÉLULAS EPITELIALES, en donde desempeña un papel en el acoplamiento de la MEMBRANA BASAL y en la migración celular, y puede regular las funciones de otras integrinas. Dos isoformas de la subunidad alfa (INTEGRINA ALFA3) ayustadas alternativamente se expresan de modo diferenciado según los diferentes tipos celulares.

Note d'application: Cell surface receptor for LAMININ, epiligrin, FIBRONECTINS, entactin, and COLLAGEN. Integrin alpha3beta1 is the major integrin present in EPITHELIAL CELLS, where it plays a role in the assembly of BASEMENT MEMBRANE as well as in cell migration, and may regulate the functions of other integrins. Two alternatively spliced isoforms of the alpha subunit (INTEGRIN ALPHA3), are differentially expressed in different cell types.
