Note d'application: Carboxipeptidasas que se encuentran principalmente en el SISTEMA DIGESTIVO y catalizan la separación de aminoácidos en el extremo C-terminal. Las carboxipeptidasas A tienen escasa o nula actividad en la hidrólisis del C-terminal del ÁCIDO ASPÁRTICO, ÁCIDO GLUTÁMICO, ARGININA, LISINA o PROLINA. Esta enzima necesita ZINC como cofactor. Fue clasificada previamente como EC 3.4.2.1 y EC 3.4.12.2.

Note d'application: Carboxypeptidases that are primarily found the DIGESTIVE SYSTEM that catalyze the release of C-terminal amino acids. Carboxypeptidases A have little or no activity for hydrolysis of C-terminal ASPARTIC ACID; GLUTAMIC ACID; ARGININE; LYSINE; or PROLINE. This enzyme requires ZINC as a cofactor and was formerly listed as EC 3.4.2.1 and EC 3.4.12.2.
