Note d'application: Nuevo miembro de la familia de receptores del factor de necrosis tumoral, que también puede mediar en la entrada en la célula del VIRUS DEL HERPES SIMPLE TIPO 1. Posee especificidad para el MIEMBRO 14 DE LA SUPERFAMILIA DE LIGANDOS DEL FACTOR DE NECROSIS TUMORAL y la forma isotrimérica de LINFOTOXINA-ALFA. Este receptor se expresa abundantemente en los LINFOCITOS-T y puede intervenir regulando la activación linfocítica. La señal del receptor se activa merced a su asociación con FACTORES ASOCIADOS AL RECEPTOR DE TNF.

Note d'application: A novel member of the tumor-necrosis factor receptor family that can also mediate HERPES SIMPLEX VIRUS TYPE 1 entry into cells. It has specificity for TUMOR NECROSIS FACTOR LIGAND SUPERFAMILY MEMBER 14 and the homotrimeric form of LYMPHOTOXIN-ALPHA. The receptor is abundantly expressed on T-LYMPHOCYTES and may play a role in regulating lymphocyte activation. Signaling by the activated receptor occurs through its association with TNF RECEPTOR-ASSOCIATED FACTORS.
