Note d'application: Proteína adaptadora de la señalización SHC que transduce las señales dependientes de FOSFOTIROSINA más allá de las PROTEÍNAS TIROSINA QUINASAS RECEPTORAS y tirosina quinasas no-receptoras. Es necesaria para la MIGRACIÓN CELULAR inducida por TGF-BETA, la INVASIVIDAD NEOPLÁSICA y en las METÁSTASIS de las NEOPLASIAS DE LA MAMA. Su dominio SH2 es esencial para la supervivencia del tumor. También participa en la señalización descendente del RECEPTOR TIE-2 DE ANGIOPOYETINA, regulando la migración de las CÉLULAS ENDOTELIALES y en la NEOVASCULARIZACIÓN FISIOLÓGICA.

Note d'application: An SHC-signaling adaptor protein that transduces PHOSPHOTYROSINE-dependent signals downstream of RECEPTOR PROTEIN-TYROSINE KINASES and non-receptor tyrosine kinases. It is required for TGF-BETA-induced CELL MIGRATION; NEOLPASM INVASION; and METASTASIS of BREAST NEOPLASMS; its SH2 DOMAIN is essential for tumor survival. It also functions in signaling downstream of ANGIOPOIETIN RECEPTOR TIE-2, regulating the migration of ENDOTHELIAL CELLS; and PHYSIOLOGIC NEOVASCULARIZATION.
