Note d'application: Trastorno caracterizado por la caída de la cabeza debido a una debilidad intensa de los MÚSCULOS DEL CUELLO en la parte posterior del cuello. Puede causar una CIFOSIS cervical intensa denominada deformidad de la barbilla sobre el pecho. El síndrome de cabeza caída se asocia a menudo a otras enfermedades, como ENFERMEDAD DE PARKINSON, ICTUS, CÁNCER DE CABEZA Y CUELLO y ESPONDILITIS ANQUILOSANTE.

It may result in severe cervical KYPHOSIS called chin-on-chest deformity. Dropped head syndrome is most often associated with other diseases, e.g., PARKINSON'S DISEASE; STROKES; HEAD AND NECK CANCER; and ANKYLOSING SPONDYLITIS.
