Scope note: Productos químicos que se utilizan principalmente para desinfectar los conductos radiculares tras la pulpectomía y antes de la obturación. Los principales son el monoclorofenol alcanforado, EDTA, formocresol, peróxido de hidrógeno, metacresilacetato e hipoclorito de sodio. Entre los irrigantes del conducto radicular se encuentran también las soluciones para enjuague de agua destilada, cloruro de sodio, etcétera.
