Scope note: Tumor teratoide raro del ovario compuesto la mayoría de las veces por tejido tiroideo casi exclusivamente, co grandes folículos que contienen abundante coloide. A veces existen síntomas de hipertiroidismo. El 5-10 por ciento de estos tumores pueden ser malignos, los cuales presentan como unico criterio la presencia de metástasis.
