Scope note:

Líquido bombeado por el corazón a través de arterias, venas y capilares. Está formado por un líquido claro amarillento llamado plasma y por diversos tipos celulares con funciones distintas. La función más importante de la sangre es transportar oxígeno y nutrientes a las células y retirar el dióxido de carbono y otros productos de desecho para la detoxificación y eliminación.
