Scope note: Trastorno neoplásico infrecuente caracterizado por una proliferación clonal de MASTOCITOS, que se asocia a mutaciones KIT-D816 y que se acompaña de una activación anormal de los mastocitos. El incremento anormal de MASTOCITOS puede producirse exclusivamente en la piel (MASTOCITOSIS CUTÁNEA), en tejidos extracutáneos con afectación de múltiples órganos (MASTOCITOSIS SISTÉMICA) o en tumores sólidos (MASTOCITOMA).
