Scope note: Lesiones accidentales ocasionadas por breves descargas eléctricas de alto voltaje durante tormentas eléctricas. Son comunes el paro cardiopulmonar, coma y otros síntomas neurológicos, necrosis miocárdica y quemaduras dérmicas. Para la supervivencia está indicado un rápido tratamiento de ,las secuelas agudas, que incluye la resucitación cardiopulmonar.
