Scope note: Un niño menor de 15 años de edad que ha sido separado de ambos PADRES después de un desastre, éxodo o desplazamiento de REFUGIADOS, y para cuyo cuidado no se puede encontrar ninguna persona que por ley o costumbre tenga la responsabilidad principal. Las ORGANIZACIONES humanitarias suelen cuidar de los MENORES o niños no acompañados en espera de la reunificación familiar.
