La concentración plasmática de glucosa es crítica para la supervivencia ya que es la principal fuente de energía para el SISTEMA NERVIOSO CENTRAL.Afecciones patológicas en las que la GLUCEMIA no se mantiene dentro de los límites normales, como la HIPOGLUCEMIA y la HIPERGLUCEMIA.
