Scope note: Enfermedad causada por la liberación de exotoxinas de CLOSTRIDIUM PERFRINGENS en el intestino de ovejas, cabras, ganado bovino, potros y cochinillos. La enterotoxemia de tipo B en ovejas es la disentería de las ovejas; la enterotoxemia de tipo C en ovejas maduras produce "ahogo", y en novillos, corderos y cochinillos causa una enterotoxemia hemorrágica; la enterotoxemia de tipo D en ovejas y cabras es la enfermedad del riñón pulposo o la enfermedad por comer excesivamente.
