Scope note: Trabajos sobre listas de fármacos o colecciones de recetas, fórmulas y prescripciones para la elaboración de preparados farmacéuticos. Los formularios difieren de una FARMACOPEA en que son menos completos, de modo que no contienen descripciones completas de los fármacos, su forma farmacéutica, composición analítica, propiedades químicas, etc. En los hospitales, los formularios incluyen todos los medicamentos almacenados habitualmente en la farmacia del hospital.
