Las terminaciones de las neuronas sensitivas son el comienzo de la vía aferente hacia el SISTEMA NERVIOSO CENTRAL. Las terminaciones de las neuronas motoras son los terminales finales de los axones que están en las células musculares. Las terminaciones nerviosas donde se liberan neurotransmisores se llaman TERMINALES PRESINAPTICOS.
