World Malaria Day


On April 21, the world will step up its fight against malaria through campaigns on:

  • Ending discrimination and stigma against the disease; 
  • Involving communities in health decision-making; 
  • Providing primary care in places where people live and work; 
  • Disseminating knowledge about factors that increase the risk of malaria; 
  • Universal health coverage interventions to control malaria.
