Note d'application: Polipéptidos hormonalmente activos que pueden inducir el fenotipo transformado cuando se añaden a células normales no transformadas. Se han hallado en líquidos de cultivo de células transformadas retroviralmente y en células derivadas de tumores, así como en fuentes no neoplásicas. Sus actividades transformadoras se deben a la acción simultánea de otros factores por lo demás no relacionados, el FACTOR ALFA DE CRECIMIENTO TRANSFORMADOR y el FACTOR BETA DE CRECIMIENTO TRANSFORMADOR.

Note d'application: Hormonally active polypeptides that can induce the transformed phenotype when added to normal, non-transformed cells. They have been found in culture fluids from retrovirally transformed cells and in tumor-derived cells as well as in non-neoplastic sources. Their transforming activities are due to the simultaneous action of two otherwise unrelated factors, TRANSFORMING GROWTH FACTOR ALPHA and TRANSFORMING GROWTH FACTOR BETA.
